I am so going to gain weight this holiday. Thinking back, i ate Swenson's twice this week and yes, that is very bad! Yesterday, i had crayfish and fish pasta + Mac N Cheese (YUMMY and cheesy macaroni) + Cookie Summit. =0(

Anyways. Today is a tiring day! Like really! And honestly, I feel so guilty that i don't live to the fullest each day you know. I don't like to pity or sympathize people because i don't like that feeling too. Never mind, sad stuff aside.

Christmas is coming! And yes, it's also Winter Solstice Festival tomorrow! =0) And yes, there will be TANGYUAN! =0) See the picture below, it's TANGYUAN. I love this traditional tangyuan and not those instant ones you see in supermarkets. This is the best! It's sweet sweet sweet! But i seldom see such thick syrupy soup. I love making them too! =0) Because you get to make really big ones with more brown sugar and keep them for yourself! =0) And yes, the chewy qq texture is to die for man! Who can resist sweet stuffs!?

Okay, i usually eat TangYuan on this day without really knowing why. So i went to wiki it. Our trusty wiki! =0)
Here's what i got.

The Winter Solstice Festival or The Extreme of Winter (Chinese and Japanese: 冬至; Korean: 동지; Vietnamese: Đông chí) (Pinyin: Dōng zhì), (Rōmaji: Tōji) is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Chinese and other East Asians during the dongzhi solar term on or around December 21 when sunshine is weakest and daylight shortest; i.e., on the first day of the dongzhi solar term. The origins of this festival can be traced back to the Yin and Yang philosophy of balance and harmony in the cosmos. After this celebration, there will be days with longer daylight hours and therefore an increase in positive energy flowing in. The philosophical significance of this is symbolized by the I Ching hexagram fù (復, "Returning"). Traditionally, the Dongzhi Festival is also a time for the family to get together. One activity that occurs during these get togethers (especially in the southern parts of China and in Chinese communities overseas) is the making and eating of Tangyuan (湯圓, as pronounced in Cantonese; Mandarin Pinyin: Tāng Yuán) or balls of glutinous rice, which symbolize reunion.

I love tangyuan! =0)

After saturday's Winter Solstice Festival is Christmas! I never fail to forget the presentation i did on Christmas. If i am not wrong, it's Sec school project which i believe most have forgotten! Haha. But i won't forget it because i have always been wondering about Christmas and it's meaning. But i shan't go into that. =0) Christmas is on tues! I am looking forward to Christmas and Christmas Eve but then I dread it because after Christmas is like COUNTDOWN to 2008 and then SCHOOL TERM STARTS! =0( But i shall be happy about Christmas! I just thought of something really lame. It goes like this " You need to be at Christina's place to celebrate Christmas". Get the meaning? Okay.it's really lame.

Okay. I need to go off! =0)
